We are now down to the final 7 regions and this month we are presenting Umbria. The home of St Francis of Assisi.

 The main producers of truffles in Italy. Try dishes such as pappardelle with a lamb ragu`or risotto with italian sausage, mixed mushrooms and truffle oil. Maybe try a pizza with tomato, mozzarella, porcini mushroom, pesto of sedano and truffle oil.
